Yotel Washington DC

NATIONAL REPORT—Hotels that are opening soon, or have already opened, in the U.S. include Yotel’s reimagining of the Liaison Washington Capitol Hill, a Cuban-inspired boutique hotel in Florida and more.

Yotel Washington DC
Yotel’s first acquired hotel, the Yotel Washington DC, is expected to open this fall after a reconstruction and remodel of the former Liaison Washington Capitol Hill.  The hotel will offer 136 Premium King cabins and 241 First Class cabins, along with more than  21,000 sq. ft. of adaptable meetings & events spaces.

The property will maintain the Art and Soul restaurant, which has also been renovated, and a rooftop pool and bar will make its debut in spring 2021.

Hotel Haya
Aparium Hotel Group will be opening the Cuban-inspired Hotel Haya in Ybor City, FL, on Sept 24. Located in a landmarked district northeast of downtown Tampa known as the “Cigar Capital of the World,” the property is inspired by its namesake, Ignacio Haya, a pioneer in the cigar industry.

The project fuses two historic buildings with integrated new-build construction—the Las Novedades building, Tampa’s oldest restaurant built in 1890, and the Warren Building, where Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders are rumored to have haunted. The largest property in the Aparium Hotel Group portfolio, Hotel Haya will offer 178 guestrooms, most of which feature balconies. Designed by Ybor City’s Alfonso Architects Incorporated, the hotel will include a secluded courtyard pool and a number of meetings and event spaces, including a 4,000-sq.-ft. ballroom, and three F&B venues.

Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte Northlake
Daly Seven Inc. has opened the Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte Northlake. The 130-room hotel offers complimentary hot breakfast, currently being served individually packed for each guest; personal nooks and a business center; a fitness center; meeting space; and a Treat Shop with local F&B offerings and personal care items.

The property is located off I-485, less than a mile from the Northcrest Shopping Center and Northlake Mall. Nearby attractions include golf at Sunset Hills and Oak Hills Golf Club, and Mountain Island Lake.
