LOS ANGELES— Nine Thirty, the restaurant located within the W Hotel Los Angeles, appointed Jack Yoss executive chef. The restaurant is operated by Star Group Management (SGM), which manages several restaurants and nightspots here including Tengu, The Lincoln, Venice Cantina and Nacional. Yoss joins Nine Thirty from Postrio Restaurant in San Francisco. In other experience, he held positions at Caesar’s Palace where he worked in Neros, an upscale American steakhouse, and Wolfgang Puck’s Chinois Restaurant. Along with its new executive chef, Nine Thirty unveiled a fall menu paired with an assortment of boutique wines from around the world.
