PARSIPPANY, NJ—Wyndham Hotel Group has found its replacement for its former president and CEO, Steve Rudnitsky. Hotel industry veteran Eric Danziger will step into the role on Dec. 1. This will be Danziger’s second go around regarding the Wyndham name, as he was the president of the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts brand in the early 1990s. He was most recently the CEO of WhiteFence, an online, one-stop comparison shopping and transaction site for home services. Danziger’s career began as a bellman at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. After 11 years with Doubletree Hotels, he became president of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts in 1990 and grew its portfolio to 100 hotels. He also helped Wyndham go public in 1995. Danziger then joined Starwood Lodging as president and CEO and helped grow its portfolio from 11 hotels to 1,600 worldwide. He later then served as president and CEO of Carlson Hotels Worldwide. He has also recently served as CEO of ZipRealty, a startup online real estate company.
