BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA—Wyndham Hotel Group has unveiled its namesake brand, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, in Argentina with the opening of the 141-room Wyndham Nordelta Tigre Buenos Aires.

“Famous for its culture, customs, geography and cuisines, Argentina continues to be a favorite destination for global travelers and a key market for Wyndham Hotel Group,” said Paulo Pena, president and managing director, Wyndham Hotel Group in Latin America and the Caribbean. “Adding our world-renowned upscale brand to the country complements our existing portfolio of 34 hotels, which not only includes the Ramada and TRYP by Wyndham brands, but also the largest network of Howard Johnson hotels in Latin America, and the award-winning global Wyndham Rewards loyalty program.”

Located across from Nordelta Bay in Tigre, Wyndham Nordelta Tigre Buenos Aires offers views from its modern six-story building. The hotel’s full-service spa and health, beauty and wellness center offers massages and hydration services followed by time in the relaxation room, the 24-hour fitness center, the dry and wet sauna or solarium.

The hotel’s seven meeting rooms accommodate up to 250 people for business or social events. Its restaurant, Root, specializes in international cuisine and its B76 Lounge Bar on the hotel’s terrace serves cocktails and meals. Each room offers free WiFi, LED cable TV, a safe box, a minibar, a Jacuzzi and a complimentary newspaper.

“As a hotel management company, this partnership allows us to capitalize on the distribution and marketing support that come along with a global hotel giant like Wyndham Hotel Group,” said Arturo Navarro, president of AADESA, the property’s operating company. “Wyndham Nordelta is the first five-star hotel managed by AADESA among its 13 properties under its operation which represent assets of more than $100 million.”

“Our continued expansion in the region can be attributed to Wyndham-quality hotels and services as well as to the solid global resources we offer to local partners,” said Luis Mirabelli, VP of development, Wyndham Hotel Group in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Wyndham Hotel Group includes more than 7,760 properties worldwide and more than 150 hotels in Latin America and the Caribbean. In Argentina, the company has been present for more than 16 years since the opening of the first Howard Johnson hotel in 1999. Alongside the Howard Johnson, Ramada and TRYP by Wyndham brands, the opening of Wyndham Nordelta Tigre Buenos Aires marks the 35th property for the company.
