GREENVILLE, SC— Windsor/Aughtry Company, Inc., a hotel developer, has been busy of late building Hilton-branded properties in the Southeast United States. The Greenville, SC-based firm has already completed one project and is currently working on two others. Most recently, the company opened its newly developed Hampton Inn & Suites hotel in Tallahassee, FL, which contains 83 standard rooms and 39 suites. Hospitality America, Inc. is the property’s operator. Windsor/Aughtry is also building a 222-room Hilton in Columbia, SC, that will be adjacent to the newly opened Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. The hotel will feature a 3,600-sf ballroom, six meeting rooms and South Carolina’s first Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. Hospitality America, Inc. will also operate this property as well as the third hotel Windsor/Aughtry is developing, a 115-room Hampton Inn & Suites in Greenville. Located in the new Riverplace Development in downtown Greenville, the hotel will contain three meeting rooms, an exercise room and a business center.
