WINDSOR, ONTARIO—The former Waterfront Hotel Downtown Windsor has been rebranded as Best Western Plus Waterfront Hotel.

“We are pleased to have completed significant hotel upgrades to guestrooms and all public areas, and to welcome Best Western Plus, a new brand to Vrancor Group’s portfolio,” stated Darko Vranich, CEO & president, Vrancor Group and co-owner of Best Western Plus Waterfront Hotel. “It’s exciting to become part of the biggest hotel family in the world, with more than 4,100 hotels in more than 100 countries worldwide.”

“The changes we have made can be felt from the moment you arrive and are designed to enhance our guests’ experience” stated Shmuel Farhi, president, Farhi Holdings Corporation and co-owner of Best Western Plus Waterfront Hotel. “The welcome and support from Best Western has been outstanding.”

The hotel offers views of the Detroit River and skyline from every guestroom and is the anchor hotel to St. Clair Centre for the Arts, with combined banquet and  meeting space of more than 31,000 sq. ft. plus the 1,200-seat Chrysler Theatre.
