NATIONAL REPORT—Hotel Business is tracking new management contracts. Hotel Equities, Castle Resorts & Hotels, Chartwell Hospitality, Karisma Hotels & Resorts, and Six Senses Hotels have gained additions to their portfolios. Here are the details:

Hotel Equities Selected as Managing Partner to Open Aloft in Oklahoma City
Hotel Equities has been selected as the operator of the new-build Aloft hotel in Oklahoma City. This new addition to the management company’s lifestyle division of hotels is owned by Highland Hospitality LLC. An expected completion date is scheduled for Q1 2019.

Chartwell Hospitality to Manage Luxury Hotel in Nashville, TN
Propst Development has selected Chartwell Hospitality to manage a luxury hotel in a mixed-use development project in Nashville, TN. The first tower will have 21 stories with more than 510,000 gross sq. ft. of Class-A office space. The second tower, rising 34 stories tall, will include a 14-floor, 245-room luxury hotel and 20 floors of approximately 220 luxury condominium units. Connecting the Broadwest towers will be an additional 125,000 sq. ft.  of creative office and retail space along with a one-acre park in the center of the development. Broadwest will also offer among the largest parking decks in Nashville with more than 2,500 spaces.

Castle Resorts & Hotels Assumes Management of New Liberté Hotel Project
Castle Resorts & Hotels has expanded its portfolio in Auckland, New Zealand, with the Liberté Hotel. The building will be converted into a 125-room lifestyle boutique hotel, with its first phase slated to open in March 2019. Comprehensive renovations are underway, and Shine Communications Group Limited was commissioned to design and develop the new Liberté brand.

Karisma Hotels & Resorts to Manage Irotama Resort in Colombia
Karisma Hotels & Resorts has been selected to manage the Irotama Resort on Rodadero Beach in Santa Marta, Colombia. As of Nov. 1, it will manage Irotama Resort’s 290 hotel rooms and the operation of 265 condos across Irotama’s four buildings, as well as the forthcoming Irotama Reservado.

Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas to Manage Hotel and Residences in Bangkok
Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas will operate a hotel at the 5,183,640-sq.-ft. The Forestias green development at Bangna in Bangkok under an agreement with international property developer Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC).
