INTERNATIONAL REPORT—Steakhouses, cocktail lounges, beachside restaurants—these are just some of the new food and beverage outlets at properties around the globe. Here’s more on the tasty options:

Southwest Steakhouse in the Works in Dallas

The Embassy Suites Amarillo Downtown will become home to the upscale Las Brisas Southwest Steakhouse in June.

The 226-room, six-floor hotel is owned and operated by Dallas-based NewcrestImage, while the 118-seat restaurant will be owned and operated by Howard Restaurant Group, based in Lubbock, TX. Build-out of the Las Brisas restaurant is expected to begin in February, with opening scheduled for June.

Sheraton Dallas Hotel Introduces Five New F&B Outlets

The Sheraton Dallas Hotel has introduced five new food and beverage concepts. The hotel is currently undergoing a renovation of all public areas, guestrooms and meeting and convention space.

The options include an American cuisine restaurant, a coffee lounge, a sports bar and lounge—which have already opened—and a cocktail lounge and on-the-go market coming next month.

Memphis Property Debuts Upscale Gin Bar

The Hilton Garden Inn Memphis Downtown has debuted The Greyhound signature bar, which offers small plates, a variety of drinks and indoor and outdoor seating. Utilizing a curated menu of craft gins, spices, tonics and bitters, each cocktail is created tableside on The Greyhound’s “Gin + Tonic Trolley.”

Beachfront Restaurant Takes Cues From the Sea

Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya in Mexico has opened beach restaurant Sotavento.

Inspired by a shipwreck that washed up on the Mayakoba shore, Sotavento, which means “where the wind takes you,” offers a casual and relaxing environment with Caribbean beach views. The restaurant has a Mediterranean menu curated by Executive Chef Miguel Gomez.
