ORLANDO, FL— The AAA Four-Diamond Westin Grand Bohemian has been awarded “Best in Brand” for Westin Hotels & Resorts for achieving the highest scores for guest satisfaction as determined by the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide brand. Surveys are collected both by mail and electronically from guests who have recently completed a stay at one of Westin’s 76 properties in the U.S. and Canada. Each qualifying hotel is required to receive a minimum of 300 guest responses per quarter with questions evaluating the service and facilities of the property, including the likelihood of returning to that particular hotel, recommending it to a friend, rating the overall experience and staying at another hotel within the brand. “This award is earned by a core group of employees who have undergone rigorous training and know that the guest experience is a true reflection of this hotel and the entire brand,” said Stuart Newark, general manager of the 250-room property The hotel is owned by Richard Kessler, chairman/CEO of Kessler Enterprises and Grand Theme Hotels.
