GROTON, CT—Waterford Hotel Group named Tina Fleming director of operations for the 285-room Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa here.
She now oversees the rooms and food and beverage departments, including budgeting, scheduling, associate training and development, inventory, and maintaining Marriott and Waterford Hotel Group standards.
The AAA Four-Diamond Mystic Marriott is managed by Waterford Hotel Group.
Fleming joined Waterford in 2002 and most recently served as regional hotel director, responsible for overseeing the operations of several of Waterford’s select-service hotels. Her previous operations experience includes her role as general manager for the Courtyard by Marriott in Cromwell, CT, and the Courtyard by Marriott in Norwich, CT.
Fleming is a graduate of Waterford Hotel Group’s Penn State Leadership Series, a management certificate program.
