WATERCOLOR, FL- The St. Joe Company broke ground on the WaterColor Inn, a 60-room luxury beachfront inn, designed by David Rockwell of The Rockwell Group in New York. The St. Joe Hospitality Development Group is overseeing the development of the property, which is scheduled to open in 2002. Arvida will operate and manage the resort.

When complete, the inn will feature a 150-seat restaurant, meeting rooms occupying the majority of the 1st floor and a portion of the second, a Gulf-front pool, a therapeutic massage room, and an indoor spa. (10/17/00)
