BOCA RATON, FL—Waramaug LS Hotels, LLC (Waramaug), a private investment group, has completed an extensive renovation on its Holiday Inn Express & Suites Greenville Airport property in Greenville, SC.

Purchased mid-2015 by Waramaug and built in 1994, the three-story hotel is located on a 2.2-acre site off Interstate 85. The renovation included updating the exterior, the lobby, and breakfast areas including a new breakfast buffet. A sundry shop and business center were added, along with upgrades to the fitness center and indoor pool.

The renovation implemented the brand’s new Formula Blue design standard. The property is near Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport as well as the local Haywood Mall and Paris Mountain State Park. It is a pet friendly hotel.

“Our vision for the property has come to life and we look forward to welcoming our guests to our new public space areas when they stay with us,” stated Jay Litt, EVP, Waramaug Hospitality Asset Management. “The property appeals to all types of guests whether they are here for work, passing through on I-85, or just to have a vacation. It’s ideally located close to major employers, the airport, retail shops, and the Paris Mountain Sate Park for those who want to get out and explore some of the local nature trails.”

The property is situated between the business hubs of Greenville and Spartanburg to provide access to the area’s companies including Michelin, BMW and GE. Guests flying in and out of Greenville can get to the airport using the hotel shuttle that provides complementary service every day of the week.
