PHILADELPHIA— A W Hotel & Residences to be built next to the Pennsylvania Convention Center will break ground in mid-summer, as planned, one of the developers said this week, according to published reports. Rumors have swirled in recent weeks that the W Hotel may have been looking for an alternate site in the city closer to the younger demographic it seeks. But Robert Zuritsky, president of Parkway Corp., one of the development partners, insists the project, at 1200 Arch St., is moving forward. Parkways partner in the development, New York-based Urban Residential, confirmed through a spokesman that the plan is on track.
