TAVARES, FL—Vimana Franchise System’s Key West Inns has opened its first new construction resort here.
The new Mt. Dora Resort on the Lake opened January 1 with two towers, and a third new tower expected to be completed in 2015. The property sits directly on Lake Dora, which connects to dozens of others lakes throughout Central Florida. According to the company, the hotel’s construction allows every single room to have a lakefront view balcony room.
The resort also features several restaurants and amenities on site. The ground floor of Tower 1 features The Tiki West Grille and Raw Bar, while the ground floor of Tower 2 has Pastore’s Downtown Pizzeria, a spa and a cigar & wine bar. Once construction has finished, Tower 3 will feature expanded guest rooms and suites.
