Two Candlewood Suites Hotels Signed in Nebraska

ATLANTA—InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed two new Candlewood Suites hotels in Nebraska, U.S. with Younes Hospitality. Both hotels are owned by Paul and Linda Younes and will be the first Candlewood Suites hotels in their respective cities, Grand Island and Kearney.

Paul Younes began his career in the hospitality industry at a motel in Kearney, NE, and is now president of Younes Hospitality, which currently owns and operates six IHG hotels in Nebraska across the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express brands. Younes Hospitality was named the winner of the Candlewood Suites Developer of the Year Award at IHG’s Annual Owners Conference.

Both hotels will be new-build developments with 88 suites, including 54 studio suites, 24 one-bedroom suites and 10 two-bedroom suites.
