JAKARTA, INDONESIA—Tribute Portfolio, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., has debuted in Indonesia with the opening of The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta.
Owned by PT. Menteng Heritage Realty, the brand’s newest hotel is situated in Jakarta’s Menteng district. The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta occupies an Art Deco structure, with the original building dating back to 1923 as a Dutch Telecommunications office, the Menteng Telefoongebouw. It has been since restored with 90 guestrooms and suites that offer high ceilings and large windows, according to Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
The hotel features four different dining and bar destinations, ranging from locally inspired rooftop cocktails at La Vue to light fare such as patisseries at the al fresco Courtyard Cafe. Facilities overlook the Jakarta skyline, including a rooftop infinity pool and fitness center.
Tribute Portfolio debuted in April with its first hotel, the Royal Palm South Beach Miami.
