DENVER—Sarah Holtze Treadway and Eric Holtze have been promoted to co-CEOs of Stout Street Hospitality. Treadway also will serve as president.

The brother-sister team will lead the operations and development of the company their father, Chairman Steve Holtze, founded in 1993.

“It’s an exciting day for our company as Sarah and Eric take the reigns of the business I founded more than 20 years ago,” said Holtze. “After gaining industry experience outside of the company, they returned to Denver with fresh perspectives in both operations and development. I’m excited to see what the future holds under their leadership.”

Stout Street Hospitality is a privately held hotel management and development company that operates upscale boutique hotels. The core product line consists of independent hotels under the Magnolia brand. The company currently operates Magnolia hotels in Denver; Dallas; Houston; Omaha, NE; and St. Louis, and a ski resort in Winter Park, CO.

Treadway started her hospitality career in sales with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, working in both New York and Los Angeles. Since joining Stout Street Hospitality in 2007, she has worked in sales and marketing, operations and asset management, in addition to sitting on the company’s advisory board.

Eric Holtze spent more than 15 years on the real estate side of the hospitality industry. He started his career as a financial analyst with The Plasencia Group.

At Stout Street Hospitality, he most recently served as EVP/development. During the past two years, Holtze spearheaded a major renovation project at the Magnolia Denver that expanded the size of the hotel by 50 rooms while enhancing the product. He also oversaw the acquisition, rehabilitation and repositioning of the Magnolia St. Louis.
