NORFOLK, VA Trader Publishing Company, a publisher of classified advertising, acquired the assets of Exit Information Guide, LLC (EIG), a publisher of Hotel Discount Guides.
The company publishes 20 editions of Traveler Discount Guides with annual circulation of over 36 million in 48 states. EIGs publications contain discount coupons for hotels, motels and resorts.
Headquartered in Gainesville, FL, EIG is a wholly owned division of Trader Publishing Company and will continue to direct operations under existing management from its Florida location. The financial terms of the acquisition remain undisclosed. (11/21/00)
