Tracinda Bids On MGM Las Vegas Holdings

LAS VEGAS— Tracinda Corp., headed by financier Kirk Kerkorian, is negotiating to acquire The Bellagio and City Center here from MGM Mirage. Analysts indicated the price could be in excess of $12 billion. City Center, a mixed-use development which will include a 4,000-room hotel, is under construction and scheduled to open in late-2009 at a cost of $7 billion.
