SAN DIEGO— Hard Rock Hotel San Diego here has appointed Robert Todak to the position of general manager. The condo hotel is currently under construction and slated to open in the spring of 2007. With 20 years of professional hospitality experience, Todak will be responsible for operations of the 315,000-sf luxury hotel, which will have 420 suites, including 17 individually designed “Rock Star” suites. The Hard Rock Hotel San Diego will be operated by Tarsadia Hotels. Prior to his appointment, Todak was general manager of Hard Rock Hotel Chicago. He has also served as vp of Ian Schrager Hotels Miami while overseeing such properties as the Delano and the Shore Club.
