Tina Smith, Robyn Sprenger Join MGM Resorts Global Sales Team

LAS VEGAS—MGM Resorts International has added Tina Smith and Robyn Sprenger as directors of global sales for the company. Smith and Sprenger oversee sales efforts and account management for the Northeast region for all MGM Resorts destinations in Las Vegas, Biloxi and Tunica, MS, and Detroit.

MGM Resorts destinations include Bellagio, ARIA, Vdara, MGM Grand, The Signature at MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, The Mirage, Monte Carlo, New York-New York, Luxor and Excalibur in Las Vegas; Beau Rivage and Gold Strike in Mississippi; and MGM Grand Detroit.

Smith handles Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, West Virginia and Rhode Island while Sprenger is responsible for New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

“Adding global sales resources to such a critical group market is important for MGM Resorts to ensure an even more personalized service experience for our customers,” said Mike Dominguez, SVP of sales for MGM Resorts International.

Smith, based out of the MGM Resorts branch office in Paramus, NJ, brings more than 20 years of hotel and convention sales experience to her new role. Most recently, she served as executive director of National Accounts for the Loews Hotels National Sales Office in New York. Prior to Loews Hotels, Smith spent more than 10 years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts in New York.

Sprenger, who is based in New York City, joins the company from Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, where she served as director of group sales – The Americas since 2012. Prior to this role, she was in sales positions with Trump Hotel Collection in New York, the Millennium Broadway Hotel and Krisam Group.
