NATIONAL REPORT—Braemar Hotels & Resorts Inc., Choice Hotels and Hyatt Hotels Corporation have added properties to their collections. Here are the details:

Autograph Collection Adds Property In Downtown San Francisco
Braemar Hotels & Resorts Inc. has plans for The Clancy in January 2020. Located in San Francisco’s vibrant South of Market (SoMa) district, the former Courtyard San Francisco Downtown is undergoing a rebranding and renovation of approximately $30 million to create The Clancy. The hotel now joins Marriott International’s Autograph Collection Hotels, a diverse portfolio of approximately 180 independent hotels around the world that reflect unique vision, design and environments.

Newest Ascend Hotel Turns Any Guest Into A World Traveler
The Chateau Avalon is the latest addition to the Ascend Hotel Collection’s portfolio of resort, boutique and historic hotels. The is celebrated for its personalized service, upscale touches and unique suites that allow visitors to experience regions of the world without a passport. Each of the Chateau Avalon’s 61 guest suites are inspired by past and present global getaway destinations.

The Lost Stone Villas & Spa Join The Unbound Collection by Hyatt
The Lost Stone Villas & Spa has joined The Unbound Collection by Hyatt in Tengchong, Yunnan Province of Southwest China, marking the second property under The Unbound Collection by Hyatt in Greater China. The resort, built using six types of natural stone used throughout the property’s paths, walls and roof of the buildings, received its namesake as it blends into the nearby mountains, almost appearing lost in nature.

Starting at 1,572 sq. ft., the villas feature a separate bedroom, marble bathroom, living and dining spaces, a kitchen, plus an in-villa spa treatment room. Each villa also has a private outdoor courtyard and lounging garden planted with colorful 100-year-old rhododendron flowers, plus a hot spring pool carved from a single block of granite.
