White Lodging Names Carolyn Hosna Vice President of Marketing
White Lodging has Carolyn Hosna as its new VP of marketing. Hosna joined White Lodging in 2009 and most recently served as managing senior director of digital marketing. Prior to joining White Lodging, Hosna worked at Madhaus Studio, where she worked with clients to improve their branding and online strategy.
MGM Resorts International Executive Uri Clinton Names COO of New York’s Empire City Casino
MGM Resorts International has appointed Uri Clinton president and COO of Empire City Casino in Yonkers, NY. For the past several years, he has managed MGM Resorts’ efforts to explore development opportunities in Connecticut and New York, and he will continue to do so. He joined MGM Resorts as VP/deputy general counsel in 2014 and was promoted to SVP/legal counsel in 2016. During this time, he provided legal advice and counseling on gaming jurisdictions before transitioning to global development in 2018. Prior to joining the company, he held leadership roles in legal affairs with several companies, including Baha Mar, Ltd., Multimedia Games, Inc. and Caesars Entertainment Corporation.
Chatham Lodging Appoints Mary Beth Higgins to Board of Trustees
Chatham Lodging Trust has appointed of Mary Beth Higgins to the company’s board of trustees. She serves as an independent director. Higgins currently serves as the interim CFO and COO of Affinity Gaming Inc., a nine casino multi-jurisdictional gaming company. In her current roles, she is responsible for the day to day operations of the casinos, as well as all aspects of the company’s accounting, finance and investor relation functions. Before joining Affinity, she served from 2017-2018 as CFO of VICI Properties, a REIT spin-off of Caesars Entertainment, and prior to that as CFO for Caesars Entertainment Operating Company from 2014-2017. For the 17 years prior to that, she served as CFO at companies such as Global Cash Access Holdings, Inc., Herbst Gaming, Inc., and Camco, Inc.
