ATLANTA—Dom Beveridge is the new EVP of demand generation for The Rainmaker Group. The former general manager of Rainmaker’s Multifamily Data Exchange (MDX), Beveridge was promoted to take full advantage of his deep hotel and multifamily experience as the organization expands its business in both verticals, according to the company.
Beveridge’s new responsibilities include spearheading Rainmaker’s annual user conference, OPTIMIZE, which draws hotel and gaming executives for three days of in-depth education and insights by leading experts in revenue optimization. This year’s program, OPTIMIZE2016, will be held in Miami Feb. 17-19.
Beveridge brings to his role nearly 20 years of experience in market analytics, pricing and revenue management across a variety of industries. He joined Rainmaker to start the MDX project in September 2012. Before Rainmaker, his experience includes serving as a senior account manager with JDA Software Group, Inc. There, he led the development of a next-generation price optimization solution for the lodging industry. He was previously a senior manager in the strategy practice of Capgemini Consulting (formerly Cap Gemini Ernst & Young) in Sydney, Australia. He also worked for Manugistics (formerly Talus Solutions) in its European operations.
Beveridge earned an MBA from the University of Surrey (U.K.) and is an alumnus of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. He is based in Pittsburgh.
