LONDON—The Milestone Hotel in Kensington, the London flagship of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection, has reopened its luxury suites, the Buckingham Suite and Princess Suite, following renovations.
The project included updated furnishings, new art and antiques, and custom-designed furniture.
Infused with shades of red, gold and cream, the redesigned Princess Suite includes a lounge area and private balcony. The fixtures, fittings and furnishings include the bed’s custom-designed headboard upholstered in Kai cranberry velvet and handmade lampshades from Greco Angela Rosa in Venice. The walls feature a collection of Miró lithographs. The sitting area offers a custom-designed Northcroft velvet sofa bed and antique chairs upholstered in Pierre Frey fabrics.
The Buckingham Suite now features tones of brown, gold, blue and white, with silk upholstered walls. The king-size bed includes a brown leather headboard and antique gilt finish. The space also features a pair of antique chairs upholstered in Brunschwig & Fils fabric. A high-back corner sofa bed is in the suite’s lounge area.
The Milestone Hotel is a member of The Leading Hotels of The World.
