The Knickerbocker Joins The Leading Hotels of the World

NEW YORK—The Knickerbocker, a registered New York landmark building, is the newest property to join The Leading Hotels of the World.
Located on  42nd St. the hotel will open in 2014.
 
Ted Teng, LHW’s CEO, stated, “The Knickerbocker will offer an unforgettable, authentic guest experience when it opens its doors and will exemplify the meaning of what it is to become a ‘Leading Hotel.’”
Originally opened in 1906 by John Jacob Astor IV, the hotel exemplified the high culture of the Gilded Age and served as a nexus for society.
The Knickerbocker will offer 330 guestrooms,including 40 suites, when it opens, as well as a signature restaurant and bar on the fourth-floor, a ground-level boulangerie and a 7,500-sq.=ft.rooftop bar and terrace.
