BUFFALO, NY—Choice Hotels International’s Ascend Hotel Collection had added The Curtiss Hotel to its global portfolio of independent hotels and resorts. The 68-room upper-upscale boutique hotel is located in the heart of downtown Buffalo and has seven styles of guestrooms.

Rooms are furnished with premium Stearns & Foster bed sets with high thread count imported Italian percale linens, and are equipped with guest-facing technology including Crestron touchscreen room controllers and remote-controlled drapes and lighting. Spa-like bathrooms have four digitally controlled water sources, Beekman 1802 bath products, Bluetooth-enabled audio capability, Bain Ultra air jet tubs with chromatherapy and aroma clouds, and Steamist steam showers in 16 select rooms. Additionally, there is an on-site spa and an indoor-outdoor hot springs that can accommodate up to 26 people.

F&B options include Chez Ami, a modern American/Italian restaurant and Vue Rooftop Lounge.

Conceived and developed by Mark D. Croce, president & CEO of Buffalo Development Corporation, The Curtiss Hotel is the result of a transformation of the former Harlow C. Curtiss office building, from which the hotel takes its name.
