The updated Presidential Suite at The Beverly Hilton

NATIONAL REPORT—Newly renovated hotels include The Beverly Hilton, an Omni hotel in San Antonio and more.

The Beverly Hilton
The Beverly Hilton has completed a $35-million property-wide renovation. The final phase included renovated guestrooms, including nine private luxury suites within The Penthouse Collection; the by-appointment-only fitness center; indoor- outdoor event spaces and meeting rooms; the new Mercato market; and redesigned public spaces including the lobby. Inspired by relaxed California living, the renovation included upgrades to furnishings, flooring, wallcoverings, fixtures and in-room technologies.

The renovated rooms, designed in partnership with Texas-based Paul Duesing Partners, offers three distinct experiences: the modernism of the Oasis Building, the resort-inspired Hollywood glamour of the poolside cabanas; and the secluded opulence of The Wilshire Tower. The Presidential Suite trades a deep burgundy and gold palette, dark wood accents and heavy fabrics for sleek, contemporary furnishings and a soothing color palette, according to the property.

 Omni La Mansión Del Rio
Omni La Mansión del Rio in San Antonio has completed a multimillion-dollar update. Hitt Contracting led the hotel’s room renovation in phases. Taking inspiration from the rich history of the property, the overall design maintains the originality of the existing building while adding new amenities.

The 338 renovated guestrooms include new beds and an upgrade of any full-size beds to queen beds; new nightstands, dressers, lounge chairs with ottomans, full desk and chair sets, carpeting and new lighting fixtures; and new artwork that reflects the heritage and beauty of the region. New in-room amenities include new high-definition smart TVs with the ability to stream and connect directly from personal devices; a new WiFi system; and an RFID door lock system.
