SHREVEPORT, LA—Sunrise Hospitality, based here, will expand with three new hotel openings in 2016. The first of the three, an 84-key Holiday Inn Express located in Ruston, LA, will feature the brand’s new prototype.

Kevin Dzurik, partner at Sunrise, stated, “After seeing the new prototype hotel, I’m excited to be building one in Ruston. It’s modern and raises the bar for select-service hotels. I know it will serve our guests well and be the market leader for years to come.”

A Holiday Inn Express & Suites and a Staybridge Suites—both located in Monroe, LA—are scheduled to break ground in 2016. The Staybridge Suites will be the first extended-stay hotel in the Sunrise portfolio.
