NATIONAL HARBOR, MD— Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center has appointed Sheldon Suga to serve as senior vp and general manager. Suga has more than two decades of hospitality experience. Most recently, he served as vp and hotel manager of Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, FL. Before joining Gaylord Hotels, Suga was general manager at a number of hotel properties around the world including the Wyndham Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Located along the banks of the Potomac River, Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center has 2,000 guestrooms and more than 470,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
