Strategic Hotel Capital Acquires Fairmont Chicago

CHICAGO— Strategic Hotel Capital, Inc., plans to acquire the Fairmont Chicago for $154.7 million. SHC, which is acquiring the 692-room property from the Swig Co., expects the deal to close this quarter. Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels acted as agent for the seller. Fairmont will continue to manage the property.
