NEW ORLEANS—StepStone Hospitality is now managing the TownePlace Suites New Orleans Metairie.

“We have experience in the New Orleans market, including the growing suburb of Metairie,” stated Blair Wills, StepStone’s president and COO. “We look forward to being part of the community and offering an extended-stay guest experience to leisure and business travelers.”

The pet-friendly hotel provides fully stocked kitchens and free wireless high-speed Internet access in all suites, complimentary computer workstations in the lobby, a 24-hour exercise room, outdoor pool and free continental breakfast. Room options include a home-office studio and one- and two-bedroom suites.

The Elmwood Business Park is nearby, along with the Elmwood Fitness Center and numerous restaurants and retail shops. The hotel is six miles from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.

The hotel is the fourth managed hotel to join the company’s portfolio since August, bringing the total to 12 managed hotels. The other newly managed hotels include DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Downtown Nashville, Sheraton DFW Airport and Wyndham Baltimore Mount Vernon.
