WASHINGTON, DC—StayNTouch has closed a $9.5-million financing round, led by Concur, through its Perfect Trip Fund, and Shiji (Hong Kong) Ltd, to build out the company’s solutions worldwide. Also participating in the round are Triangle Peak Partners, Stanford University and Acceleprise.
StayNTouch offers hotel management technology for a client list that includes MGM Resorts International, Yotel and resorts such as The Fontainebleau. According to the company, StayNTouch’s cloud-based hotel PMS aims to tackle one of the biggest challenges facing the hotel industry—successfully leveraging emerging technology in mobility to connect hotel staff and guests to enhance the guest experience and drive increased guest revenue.
StayNTouch’s proprietary Rover solution enables hotel staff to perform functions efficiently via tablet and mobile devices, driving tangible benefits such as a 10% to 20% increase in revenue, and 20% to 30% in cost savings, according to the company. The company’s Zest solution allows guests to self check-in and out, view hotel folio and receive upgrade promotions, all from their smartphones.
As part of the financing, Mike Eberhard, president of global distribution, Concur, and Kevin King, COO, Shiji Group, will join the StayNTouch board of directors.
Since its inception in 2013, StayNTouch has signed dozens of properties and is currently deployed in select cities in the U.S and Europe. The company sees continued growth in these regions, and near-term expansion in Asia.
