SANYA, CHINA—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. recently introduced The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort, Westin’s first beach resort hotel in Hainan Island. Located in Haitang Bay, the resort marks the brand’s 18th property in Greater China—its second largest market behind the United States.

With views of the South China Sea, The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort features 448 guestrooms, suites and villas amidst 12,000 square meters of tropical waterscapes. All guestrooms offer signature Westin amenities, including the Westin Heavenly Bed, designed to cradle and contour to the body. The resort includes five swimming pools and 10 Jacuzzis surrounded by the resort’s landscaping; a WestinWORKOUT gym; and the Heavenly Spa by Westin.
