COLUMBIA, SC—SREE Hotels, LLC, has acquired the 189-room Courtyard by Marriott Columbia Downtown at USC here.
SREE is planning a $4-million renovation to upgrade the interior and exterior, and will integrate the new Courtyard Refreshing Business Decor Package into the lobby area. The nine-story hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and guest laundry, and offers three meeting rooms with a total of up to 5,000 sq. ft. of space.
“This presence of a premium brand in an urban location, close to the dynamic University, sports and government operations, makes this an ideal investment for us,” stated Parag Patel, chief finance and development officer of SREE Hotels.
