BAKERSFIELD, CA—SpringHill Suites Bakersfield has unveiled its $1.8-million renovation here, featuring renewed public spaces and refreshed guest suites.
Upon arrival, design elements in the lobby include flexible seating areas; inspirational words on the wall behind the check-in center; and a three-panel digital art gallery. The breakfast area and Great Room in the lobby also received a revamp, with new furniture and the instillation of a custom communal table.
Suites are designed with an earthy color palette that is highlighted by muted pops of color. According to the company, the spaces are 25% larger than comparable Bakersfield hotels and feature new beds and linens, furniture, carpet, drapes, lighting and artwork. In-room amenities include Paul Mitchell bath products, complimentary high-speed WiFi, ergonomic chairs and large flat-panel TVs with premium movie channels. In addition, there are kitchenettes in all suites. Hallways and elevator lobbies leading to the all-new suites sport new carpet, wallcoverings and artwork.
Elsewhere, a state-of-the-art workout facility with Life Fitness cardio equipment overlooks the enhanced indoor pool area with lounge chairs and a shower. The boardroom features new furnishings and carpet, as well as a new 60-in. TV, which is equipped to project presentations from a laptop.
