WASHINGTON, DC—The Trump International Hotel, Washington D.C. held a soft opening on Monday, according to NBC4 Washington. An official grand opening is planned for October.
Located on Pennsylvania Ave. at 12th St. NW, the new hotel is housed inside of the former Old Post Office building and provides 263 guestrooms and suites.

To bring the project to fruition, The Trump Organization worked closely with the U.S. Government in the complex challenge of transforming this 19th-century, one-of-a-kind building into a luxury hotel.
Among the enhancements include the restoration of intricate stonework, original wood milling and paneling while installing the latest in technology and luxe amenities.
The 35 suites include the Trump Townhouse with its private entrance on Pennsylvania Ave. At 6,300 sq. ft. of interior space, it will be the largest and most high-end suite in the city and among the largest in the country, according to the brand.
In addition, the hotel features a 13,200 sq. ft., column-free Presidential Ballroom, as numerous meeting spaces. The nine-story atrium, the Cortile, will be home to dining and Brioni’s boutique, an Italian menswear couture house. The boutique will be prominently featured within the heart of the hotel offering.
