Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe Unveils Reno

PARIS—Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe, the brand’s flagship Paris hotel, has unveiled its renovation, designed by the Studio Putman in collaboration with architectural agency IGLOO.

Designed to look like a Parisian pied-à-terre, the 124-key hotel preserved its Haussmanian façade. The contemporary interiors feature soft colors, sleek lines and an array of textures inspired by French designer Andree Putman and the City of Lights. Design elements of the public spaces include a fireplace in the lounge, which fluidly connects to the lobby and the gallery. The guestrooms offer soothing blue tones, contemporary furnishings and Parisian touches to oversized bathrooms.

F&B offerings include L’Initial, a 64-seat restaurant from Head Chef Thomas Bruno, which serves modern French cuisine inspired by fresh and seasonal ingredients. The Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe’s bar, the first that Jose Da Rosa from Epicerie Da Rosa designed for a Paris hotel, offers a deli-café concept with cuisine from France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. The tearoom, the first created by Da Rosa, features 26 varieties of tea and six French pastries from Parisian chefs such as Jean-Paul Hévin, Philippe Conticini, Angelina’s tea room and Michael Boivin.

Additional amenities include four adaptable function rooms and a fitness center.
