LONDON—This December, WestHouse Hotel New York will open, bringing the total number of Small Luxury Hotels of the World’s (SLH) New York portfolio up to six.

In the past year, the company has added two new hotels: The Quin, which opened this month, and the Refinery Hotel New York, which opened last May.

“New York has always been on our radar; SLH has had a great presence in cities like London, Paris and Rome, so we were always keen on growing our collection of New York,” stated Paul Kerr, CEO for SLH. “It is a key city for growth in the Americas, and America is our biggest source market—but it was important to find the right hotels. The Quin, Refinery Hotel New York and WestHouse Hotel New York are all new conversions and are wonderful additions to our city collection; they were well worth the wait.”

The other hotels in the portfolio are Hotel Chandler, The Inn at Irving Place and The Iroquois New York.
