LAS VEGAS— Sony Electronics flat-panel displays are adding a luxurious touch to the new two-story Skylofts at the MGM Grand here. Sony has installed about 250 plasma and LCD displays, ranging from 32-inch to 50-inch screen sizes. Sony products available in Skylofts include: Sonys latest LCD flat-panel 32-inch display in silver, black or pearl white. At the Skylofts, these units are installed in the wall above the suites infinity -edge bathtub, allowing viewing while soaking in the tub. Also in the Skylofts are the 42-inch plasma display which offers advanced technology for enhanced image retention protection and a 60,000 hour panel life, and finally for hotel suites, the 50-inch display that comes with a durable and stylish crystal bezel and in silver, black or pearl white.
