Kalisti Hotel & Suites Completes Renovation
Following a complete renovation, Kalisti Hotel & Suites unveiled a new look designed according to the rules of Cycladic architecture, reflecting Santorini’s landscape.
Interiors blend minimalism with the warmth of natural materials, island simplicity, and earthy colors with hues of gray, highlighted by touches of gold. The 50 rooms and suites bring together modern design with tradition, as expressed through artisanal materials and objects.
Enhancement Underway for Four Seasons Resort Nevis
Four Seasons Resort Nevis has kicked off the final chapter of its multi-phase enhancement project, which has already seen the launch of re-envisioned guestrooms and suites, an updated look for the Great House lobby and the opening of new F&B outlets, EsQuilina and crowned monkey Rum Bar.
Set to be completed this fall, the latest enhancements will include the redesign of the main signature pool, construction of a new restaurant concept—On the Dune—that extends out on to the sand and the unveiling of additional improved spaces around the property for guests to enjoy a variety of new experiences and amenities.
Occidental Nuevo Vallarta Unveils Expansion
Occidental Nuevo Vallarta has revealed plans for a new tower, which will feature a modern guestroom inventory. The $8-million project is slated to open in the first quarter of 2020.
Located in the Riviera Nayarit, Occidental Nuevo Vallarta (part of the Barceló Hotel Group), will increase its guestroom inventory to 366 rooms and suites; 92 of these rooms will be totally new, distributed throughout the six floors of the new tower. Each new room will offer Pacific Coast views of Bahía de Banderas.
Kempinski Unveils $30M Renovation in Beijing
Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center, Beijing’s first European hospitality pioneer, unveils its newly transformed 480 rooms and suites, including a Western and Oriental Presidential Suite, a large executive lounge, and a reimagined all-day dining outlet, after the most substantial renovation in its 26-year history, according to the company. The $30-million upgrade aims to reinterpret European luxury in modern China.
Six Senses Douro Valley to Add Guestrooms, Suites and Event Space
Work is in progress on the addition of seven suites and three guestrooms at Six Senses Douro Valley, set to debut this summer. The guestrooms and suites are peaceful, offering sleep- and rest-inducing colors and lighting designed to create a personal retreat. The color palette and finishes continue the style of the resort’s current rooms and suites.
A New Look for Carton House
In Kildare, Ireland, the Carton House unveiled completely refreshed guest bedrooms as part of a property wide renovation and restoration project. Inspired by the estate’s surrounding landscape and reminiscent of Carton Houses’ past, which dates back to 1739, these enhancements offer style in natural colors. American-sized and styled bedding and furniture complement the rich and elegant decor.
