SAN DIEGO— The Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina has installed a new system of self-service kiosks— a first for the brand on the West Coast— that enables guests to bypass the traditional front-desk check-in system and instead, with the swipe of a credit card, check-in or out in less than a minute. Located in the hotel lobby, the kiosks also have the ability to print room keys and messages. Guests can also change their room type and view with a few clicks, and print and email their personal guest folios any time during their stay. The first implementation of the kiosk system on the West Coast, the system also is available in nine other Sheratons: Sheraton New York and Towers, Sheraton Manhattan, Sheraton Parsippany; Sheraton Edison, Sheraton Stamford, Sheraton Braintree, Sheraton Framingham, Sheraton Boston and Sheraton Tucson.
