ORLANDO Starwood Vacation Ownership has announced the opening of the first phase of Sheraton s Vistana Villages, its second vacation ownership resort in Orlando. The resort will be among the largest vacation ownership resorts in the country with more than 1,400 one- and two-bedroom villas upon completion.
The first phase of Sheraton s Vistana Villages includes six mid-rise buildings totaling 200 villas with an architectural style reminiscent of old St. Augustine and Palm Beach. The resort will feature an Olympic size pool, health club, children s pool and playground, complimentary transportation to Orlando s theme parks and a full schedule of on-site activities. (10/5/00)
