CHAMPION, PA The Seven Springs Resort Board announced today the appointments of Scott Bender as president/COO and Sandy Ferguson as chairman/CEO.

These appointments conclude the Board s review of the Seven Springs Mountain Resort senior management arrangements that followed the retirement of Jim McClure, chairman/president, earlier this summer. That review process included meetings with all shareholders of Seven Springs with regard to the future direction of the resort/conference center. The shareholders concluded the resort should continue to be held by the Dupre Family for the foreseeable future and that significant investment and improvements should be made. The investment process began earlier this year with the adoption of a $6.5 million capital improvements program. (9/22/00)
