NEW YORK— Bruce Serlen, previously hotel editor at Business Travel News (BTN), has joined HOTEL BUSINESS® and HOTEL JOURNAL® as executive editor. Serlen spent the last five-and-a-half years with BTN and prior to that he held editorial positions with such publications as Corporate Incentive Travel and Insurance Meeting Management. “I’m real excited to be able to write about the hotel industry from the broad perspective of HOTEL BUSINESS®,” said Serlen, adding, “it’s an exciting time in the business.” Serlen will work in the company’s New York City office and reports to Dennis Nessler, senior managing editor of HOTEL BUSINESS® and HOTEL JOURNAL®.
