ATLANTA—The 199-room Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh West-Green Tree hotel, the closed InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) full-service hotel to Pittsburgh, has opened following a $4-million renovation by the ownership.
Guests at the Pittsburgh hotel will experience the Crowne Plaza brand’s new “Always On” enhancements that are focused on connectivity, wellness and productivity. The 24-hour business center features U-Connect, while new technology offers single Internet sign-on, free and reliable WiFi, one-click secure wireless printing and easy access to power outlets and charging cords. The hotel also features an Energy Essentials Wellness Station with healthy snacks and drinks.

Located off Interstate 376, the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh West-Green Tree hotel offers a variety of dining options at the onsite restaurant, Bistro 401, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guestroom amenities include 42-inch flat-screen HDTVs, Keurig coffeemakers, iHome clock radios, Miwa contactless guestroom keys and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Downtown Pittsburgh is only three miles away, and the hotel provides easy access to public transportation.
The hotel offers 11,700 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space and the Crowne Plaza meetings program, which includes a two-hour response guarantee to RFPs, a dedicated meetings director and a daily meeting debrief.
