SAN DIEGO— Altitude, a new rooftop bar located atop the San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter hotel, recently made its debut. Altitude is situated on the 22nd floor of the 306-room hotel at the crossroads of the East Village and Gaslamp neighborhoods of downtown San Diego. Created by Cb5 Restaurant Group, the bar is designed to be reminiscent of a sophisticated Manhattan penthouse patio, and features wrought iron gateways and arches, black slate flooring and canvas awnings. Billowing silk drapes, a vine-covered trellis, candelabras and chandeliers with floating luminaries adorn the garden area of the bar.
