Rosewood Promotes Boulogne To COO

NEW YORK— Rosewood Hotels and Resorts has promoted Robert Boulogne to chief operating officer. He will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the company, as well as continuing to provide leadership for Rosewood’s sales and marketing team. Boulogne joined Rosewood in 2001 with more than years of experience in the hospitality and travel industry. He assumed the position of vp/sales and marketing where he oversaw all aspects of marketing, public relations, advertising and central reservations for all of the company’s properties. Previously, Boulogne served as vp/sales for Youpowered Inc., a company specializing in personalization and privacy software for the Internet. He also served as vp/Americas for Rezsolutions, Inc., where he was responsible for managing sales and marketing initiatives for Summit Hotels and Resorts and Sterling Hotels and Resorts. Additionally, Boulogne has held various sales and marketing positions with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
