ATLANTA—IHG announced that Robert “Bob” Morse will step down from his role as Chief Operating Officer for the Americas region, effective April 4, 2014. Lew Fader, currently Senior Vice President of Operations for the Americas East Region and Canada, will oversee hotel operations in the interim.
“With his laser-like focus on delivering results, Bob has been an incredible resource to me and to our business. He played key roles in developing our winning culture and building long-term partnerships with our owners, and we wish him the very best on his new adventure. IHG is known for its people and its leadership, and we will undoubtedly find a new COO who will lead us to even greater heights,” according to IHG, President, The Americas, Kirk Kinsell.
Morse joined IHG in February 2012 from Noble Investment Group, a leading lodging and hospitality investment organization, where he most recently served as managing principal and chief operating officer.
