DENVER—RLH Corporation has signed a franchise license agreement for a new Hotel RL in the Garden District of New Orleans.

The Maison St. Charles by Hotel RL is scheduled to open in January and will have 130 boutique-style guestrooms and suites, free breakfast, an outdoor courtyard pool, fitness center, on-site restaurant and over 2,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. The property is on the St. Charles streetcar line, proximate to the French Quarter.

“Hotel RL offers spaces for business and leisure travelers to immerse themselves into local culture while maintaining their connection to the world. This property will fit in perfectly in New Orleans and is a tremendous addition to the Hotel RL family,” said Paul Sacco, chief development officer, upscale brands & corporate development.

Also signed was a Hotel RL in Waco, TX, a 132-room new-construction project anticipated to open during the fourth quarter of 2019.

Among the company’s other recent franchise agreements are new Red Lion Inns & Suites in Tucson, AZ, and Fayetteville, NC; GuestHouse Inns in Marietta, GA, and Wilmington, NC; and Americas Best Value Inns in Alpine, TX, and Gun Barrel City, TX.

“It’s exciting to be adding such a broad spectrum of properties to the system this year. We look forward to providing these hoteliers unmatched support through every step of the development process and can’t wait to offer travelers the chance to immerse themselves in local culture at these impressive hotels,” said RLH Corporation President & CEO Greg Mount.
